City Light Gas and Water
(CLGW), your city-owned utility company since 1941, provides the City of
Kennett with electric, gas, water, sewer, and internet services. CLGW
facilities and service systems include a 40 megawatt power plant, four electric
substations, gas pipe lines, a water production and waste water treatment
plant, and an expanding fiber optic communication system. CLGW provides
services to approximately 6,000 residential and business customers and prides
itself in having some of the lowest utility rates in the area.
